Updates to Rail Safety National Law (RSNL)
Rail Safety National Law National Regulations (Safety Management System) Amendment Regulations 2025
We have been advised that the interoperability regulations – the Rail Safety National Law National Regulations (Safety Management System) Amendment Regulations 2025 have been published in today’s SA Gazette.
This only affects T&H operators that operate on the mainline or who are connected / access the mainline and have equipment that may be used on the mainline.
Rail Safety National Law (Miscellaneous) Amendment Regulations 2025 and Amendment Bill 2025
We have been advised of changes to the Rail Safety National Law affecting both the act and supporting regulations. The proposed amendments are purely administrative, one regarding commencement and one to fix outdated act references in s4 of the national regulations.
