Document name structure
Document names are of the form: [SSS]-[DDD]-[nnn]-[TITLE]-v[n]
where
- SSS = 3 character Subject code (e.g. SLD = Steam Locomotive Driver)
- DDD = 3 character Document code (e.g. LMA = Learner material)
- nnn = 3 digit number (e.g. 001)
- TITLE = abbreviated Title of document
- v[n] = document Version number (e.g. v2)
For example:
- SLD-LMA-001 Steam Locomotive Driver Course Workbook – Section 1. Boilers, Frames, Axle Boxes and Suspension v2.pdf
- applies to the Steam Locomotive Driver (SLD) subject
- would be Learning Material (LMA)
- would be document 1 in the SLD-LMA series
- would be version 2 of the document
